Buck Company LLC is looking for a Finishing Associate to join our team on 1st shift. This role is absolutely essential to our quality assurance process—you will be the final step in preparing our high-quality metal castings for our customers. We are passionate about training and development, providing you with the skills you need to succeed in a stable manufacturing career.

Who We Are: Buck Company LLC, located in Quarryville, Pennsylvania, is a family-owned foundry dedicated to melding tradition with precision. For decades, we’ve been manufacturing high-quality metal castings, serving over 55 different industries. Our skilled team takes pride in hands-on workmanship, state-of-the-art equipment, and an unwavering commitment to integrity—delivering products built to last and service rooted in trust.

At Buck Company LLC, we value the contributions of our Military Veterans and proudly employ our nation’s heroes. Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do:

  • Precision Finishing: Expertly operate various industrial grinding devices to remove excess metal (such as parting lines and rough edges) from metal castings, achieving a flawless final product.
  • Initial Processing: Utilize specialized equipment, including gate-breakers and hammers, for initial casting preparation and separation.
  • Quality Inspection: Conduct thorough quality checks on finished parts, identifying and sorting castings based on type and quality standards. (Knowledge of casting defects is a plus, but we provide comprehensive training!)
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain strict compliance with all company safety policies, procedures, and quality protocols.
  • Team & Growth Focus: Actively participate in essential cross-training opportunities to broaden your skill set and contribute flexibly across the production floor.

What We're Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to safely lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Ability to stand for long periods in a non-climate-controlled, industrial environment.
  • Work Ethic: Demonstrated ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance—reliability is key for our 2nd Shift operations.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively within a team-based production environment.
  • Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to comprehend instructions and accept coaching and mentoring.
  • Safety Focus: Proven ability to adhere to and successfully perform job functions consistent with Buck Company's strict safety policy.
  • Previous experience or knowledge related to metal casting defects or industrial finishing is a plus.

What We Offer:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family
  • Competitive salary
  • Bonus programs
  • 401K retirement plan
  • Training opportunities
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Paid vacation, PTO, and holidays
  • Gym reimbursements, and more!

Join us and be a part of a team that values your contributions and supports your goals!
