As a Member Associate at Hawaii State Federal Credit Union, you will be our members' first point of contact, playing a vital role in creating positive experiences, building trusted relationships, and supporting members with their everyday banking needs. This role provides you with opportunities to develop skills and expertise in financial services, relationship-building and problem-solving. Becoming a Member Associate serves as a key first step toward a rewarding career with HSFCU, building the foundation for advancement into future positions within the branches and Credit Union. In this position, you will be responsible for processing transactions, providing account support, assisting with new account openings, and ensuring an accurate, efficient, and positive member experience. You will build relationships through friendly, personalized service while helping members confidently navigate our industry-leading technology. Together with your team, you will develop expertise in our digital banking tools including online banking, mobile banking, digital payments, and other self-service options designed to make banking more convenient and accessible. Salary Range

Base Annual Salary Range: $39,300 ($18.89/hour) - $48,510 ($23.32/hour)

The posted range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position, with final compensation determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.

Essential Duties:

• Create exceptional member experiences by delivering friendly, personalized, and efficient service in every interaction.
• Educate and guide members on digital banking capabilities, including online banking, mobile banking, digital payments, and self-service solutions.
• Build strong relationships by understanding member needs and providing thoughtful solutions and support.
• Process transactions accurately while maintaining high standards of operational excellence, security, and cash handling integrity.
• Proactively identify opportunities to introduce products, services, and resources that improve convenience, engagement, and financial well-being.
• Support branch goals by contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience

• Professional appearance, dress, and attitude.
• Good math and touch-typing skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

• Related Customer Service experience.
• Basic understanding of credit union operations.
• Basic understanding of member services and products provided.
