Member Services Representative Location: Pasadena, CA Type: Contract To Hire Compensation: $23.00 - $29.00 Work Model: Onsite – onsite Hours: 40.0

System One is seeking a Member Services Representative to join our team in Pasadena, CA for a contract to hire opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary point of contact for members and visitors, maintaining a personable, outgoing, and professional demeanor.
  • Accurately convey information regarding Credit Union products and services.
  • Respond to member account inquiries and requests promptly and efficiently.
  • Cross-sell or refer products and services based on needs identification.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of all members’ records.
  • Open and close the branch as scheduled, ensuring security protocols are followed.
  • Greet and welcome members and visitors professionally.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Log visitors in the Visitor Log and manage visitor ID badges when applicable.
  • Assist with account maintenance including issuing cards, account changes, disputes, wires, and IRA transactions.
  • Process loans according to current lending policies, set up and disburse approved loans, and complete related tasks.
  • Maintain organized member lobby and technology areas, updating marketing materials as needed.
  • Perform teller duties and, if applicable, manage safe deposit boxes, providing access and maintaining proper records.
  • Educate members on self-service and 24-hour technology channels, processing check orders and PIN changes.
  • Comply with federal regulations, credit union policies, and procedures, including Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act requirements.
  • Perform notary services and basic account maintenance as needed.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned to support branch operations.

Requirements

  • High school graduate.
  • Experience in financial services with a proven record of delivering excellent service.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Notary Public certification.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes.
