The Department of Medicine at our organization is seeking applications and nominations for the role of Division Chief of Hematology/Oncology. This position presents a remarkable opportunity for a distinguished academic physician to guide a developing division within a dynamic, mission-focused academic health system.

The Division and Academic Environment

A Division within a Comprehensive Academic Cancer Program
The Cancer Center at our organization is dedicated to advancing oncology through innovative research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and patient-centered care. The Hematology/Oncology Division is integrated within a comprehensive cancer program and serves as the academic foundation for faculty and practices at our medical center, as well as two affiliated community cancer sites in the Greater Boston area.

This framework offers a unique opportunity for translational research, population health initiatives, and the expansion of clinical trials across varied patient demographics.

Clinical Excellence

The clinical practice excels in several key areas, including a specialized program for amyloidosis and myeloma, an autologous and allogeneic bone marrow transplant program, active CAR-T trials for both malignant and non-malignant conditions, an Adolescent and Young Adult Survivor Program, and patient navigation services tailored to the Boston Chinatown and Asian language communities. The clinical practice encompasses the Boston site within the academic medical center and two community practices equipped with full infusion centers.
