As a Locum MD in Anesthesiology, you will play a crucial role in managing anesthesia care for patients undergoing various surgical procedures. Your expertise will help ensure patient safety and comfort while collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. This position is ideal for those looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout surgery
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and comfort
  • Assess patients pre- and post-anesthesia and provide comprehensive care
  • Implement anesthesia protocols and best practices
  • Educate patients and families about anesthesia processes and safety
  • Manage potential complications related to anesthesia
  • Document anesthesia procedures and patient outcomes accurately
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology
  • Experience in a clinical anesthesia setting (Associate level)
  • Strong understanding of anesthesia protocols and medications
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care
  • Current state medical license in good standing

Flexible Schedule: 8-hour day shifts available Monday-Friday

In-house call shifts

Patient Volume: 12-14 per day

Diverse Case Mix: Trauma, general surgery, vascular, orthopedics/spine, urology, and robotics

EMR: Epic

Must be ABA or ABPS board-certified or board-eligible

Paid travel & expenses
