. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to support high-quality maternal and fetal care in a collaborative environment on-site.

As a Locum MD/DO, you will play a critical role in providing specialized care to patients, with an emphasis on maternal fetal health. You will collaborate closely with a team of experienced healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for expectant mothers and their unborn children. Your expertise will be integral to our mission of delivering comprehensive and compassionate medical services within the medical practice industry.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert care in maternal fetal medicine to patients
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of pregnant patients
  • Develop and implement patient management plans
  • Collaborate with obstetricians and other specialists as needed
  • Manage high-risk pregnancies with skill and compassion
  • Participate in patient education and counseling on health matters
  • Document patient interactions and care plans accurately
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in maternal fetal medicine
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
  • Associate-level experience in maternal fetal medicine
  • Board certification in a relevant specialty is preferred
  • Strong clinical skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
  • Commitment to patient-centered care principles
  • Valid medical license to practice in Florida
  • Level IV NICU

Schedule: Monday-Thursday (7:30a-4:30/5p), Friday (7:30a-12:30p)

Call Requirement: 1-week rotation with 5 other physicians

Patient Census: 7-8 per room

Facility: 3 ultrasound rooms

Duties: D&Cs, amniocentesis, cerclages

Support Staff: 3 sonographers, 3 MAs, and an RN

EMR: Epic and Viewpoint

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
