. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work on-site, providing essential radiological services to our diverse patient population.

As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and interpreting medical images, contributing to effective patient care. You'll work closely with medical staff to ensure high-quality imaging services and maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the process. This is a vital role within our medical practice that directly impacts treatment outcomes and patient well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
  • Interpret results and communicate findings to referring physicians
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
  • Adhere to safety protocols and best practices
  • Participate in continuing education to stay current with advancements in radiology
  • Provide exceptional patient interaction and support during imaging procedures
  • Assist in the development of imaging protocols and guidelines
Requirements
  • MD degree from an accredited medical school
  • Associate level experience in Radiology
  • Valid medical license to practice in the respective state
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to patient safety and quality of care
  • Knowledge of advanced imaging technologies is preferred

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8:30a-4:30p)

No call requirement

Patient Volume: 50-60 cases per day

Responsibilities: Screenings, diagnostics, breast ultrasounds, bone density, and procedures

Procedures based on comfort level

PACS: Change Healthcare

Dictation: Powerscribe

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
