Summary
The Associate, Marketing reports to the Regional Operations, Market Leader or Managing Principal(s) and supports the office marketing function with overall strategic and logistical marketing support and implementation.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Business Development Support
  • Works with regional office to develop and execute marketing programs to support business development at the local level. Key tools that are part of the Associate's responsibility include:
  • Website
  • Proposals and Sales Presentations
  • Collateral Materials
  • E-mail Marketing
  • Newsletters

Public and Media Relations
  • Manages regional office social media programs, including blog, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
  • Works with PR consultant to develop and distribute press releases as needed.
  • Assists with events and conference participation.
  • Assists or works directly on awards submittals.

Market Research
  • Performs project/firm internet research on an as requested basis
  • Create quarterly market reports

Other
  • Maintains open communication with office leadership; shows initiative and suggests improved processes
  • Has a "can do" productive self-motivated attitude
  • Duties include the development and execution of marketing programs, management of collateral materials, public relations and award submissions, website maintenance and social media coordination.

Qualifications
  • Must be self-motivated, extremely organized, detail oriented and possess exceptional writing ability and basic graphic design skills as well as the ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
  • Proven experience leading, managing and collaborating in a team-oriented environment
  • Technical literacy in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe CC (InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat) and knowledge of marketing best practices and tools
  • Excellent communication, creative, project management, research, and organizational skills
  • Understanding of and commitment to superior client service (internally and externally)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with demanding work loads

Education/Experience
  • Must possess a BA in marketing, communications, journalism or related field and a minimum of 3 years marketing/communications experience, preferably in commercial real estate or a related professional services industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite is required.
