Overview
The Associate Marketing Manager is a pivotal team member with a strong impact on the success of the WebMD business. Reporting into the Sr. Director of Marketing, the Manager supports strategic innovation track for WebMD and Medscape, with main functions including management of marketing analytics and reporting, insights development and experimentation & optimization.
Responsibilities:
  • Marketing Analytics & Reporting
    • Develop and maintain recurring dashboards, reports, and performance tracking for marketing campaigns and audience engagement initiatives
    • Analyze campaign performance across channels including paid media, email, onsite promotions
    • Monitor KPIs such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion, engagement, retention, and user activity trends
    • Identify performance drivers, trends, and optimization opportunities
  • Business Insights & Strategy
    • Translate data into clear insights and recommendations for marketing stakeholders
    • Support audience segmentation and targeting testing strategies to improve campaign effectiveness
    • Conduct ad hoc analyses to answer business questions related to user behavior, content engagement, and conversion funnels
    • Partner with stakeholders to define success metrics and measurement frameworks for new initiatives
  • Experimentation & Optimization
    • Support A/B testing and experimentation efforts across marketing campaigns and user experiences
    • Analyze test results and communicate findings with actionable recommendations
    • Help evaluate the impact of product or marketing changes on engagement and conversion metrics
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Marketing or related field
  • 1-2 years proven experience with digital marketing or brand organization; preferred content publishing experience
  • Demonstrable experience managing social media and/or digital marketing campaigns
  • Ability to write and communicate business and technical requirements for on-site initiatives
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying and optimizing target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Understanding of (and preferably experience with) A/B and multivariate testing
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Ability to follow brand guidelines and brand voice; Expert in creating a product/campaign narrative with a focus on online traffic generation, audience development and CRM functions
  • Highly motivated & self-starter who bleeds initiative & can easily prioritize short & long-term projects; ability to establish new processes & workflow optimizations.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Exceptional communication & presentation skills and the ability to work across multiple business units and with various stakeholders (oral, written & visual)

Salary range: $70,000 - $74,000
