Investment Management Consultant II

Serves as a subject matter expert on managed accounts and their processes, focusing on customer experience, retention, and sales in partnership with the client's Financial Consultant team. This client-facing role handles the most complex managed account sales and service needs, including Annual Plan Reviews, risk mitigation, and representing Advisory Services' voice to the customer.

The Expertise We're Looking For

  • FINRA Series 7 & 66 licensed and hold appropriate state registrations
  • Minimum of 4 years of previous financial services experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Professional designation (CFP) preferred.
  • Deep understanding of managed account industry and Fidelity's managed offerings.
  • Broad-based knowledge and understanding of general financial planning concepts, including managed solutions.
  • Demonstrated customer service, relationship management, and sales skills.

  • Broad-based knowledge and understanding of financial planning, financial investments, global economics, and determinants of market movements.
  • Deep understanding of asset allocation, tax planning, and estate planning to service each client's distinct investment needs.
  • Shown strong needs based/consultative sales skills and client/book management skills.

The Value You Deliver

  • Sharing your expertise with clients on the managed money industry and Fidelity's product line including existing products and the launch of future products to meet client needs
  • Managing a diverse book of 1:1 covered clients with assets under management while actively partnering with the Wealth Management Team to deliver comprehensive advisory support.
  • Builds strong, trustbased partnerships with Wealth Management Team members and branch colleagues, actively collaborating beyond client appointments to drive shared goals and elevate the overall client experience.
  • Participating in joint phone calls with Financial Consultants and clients for Annual Plan Reviews, presenting recommendations, retention/at risk conversations and additional sales opportunities
  • Conducting pre and post sales conversations with clients, establishing expectations on performance, fees, portfolio construction, rebalancing and reallocation strategies
  • Demonstrating effective practice management capabilities and consultative selling skills to handle a book of business on behalf of Fidelity Personal and Workplace Advisors LLC| utilizing internal support resources
  • Effective profiling, funding, investing procedures, risk mitigation and compliance oversight.
  • Engaging with clients reactively and dedicatedly through effective practice management

Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles.
