Job Purpose

This position is responsible for all aspects of Operations and Funding including, but not limited to, reviewing closing documents for accuracy and completeness, booking loans to the lease system, uploading the closing documents to the imaging system, owning and maintaining the collateral functions within the company, and providing extraordinary customer service to internal and external customers.

Job Duties

  • Verify all closing documents are signed, accurate and complete.
  • Responsible ensuring accurate and timely completion of the booking process.
  • Responsible for maintaining Know Your Customer (KYC) and CIP compliance requirements.
  • Facilitate the communication of missing documentation and correction of documents as needed.
  • Upload closing documents, including any trailing documentation, to the lease origination and imaging system.
  • Accountable for accurate funding of leases, including initiation of wires, ACH, and applicable journal entries to bank’s accounting system.
  • Perform post close lease corrections in lease system.
  • Post initial payments to customer’s account post booking.
  • Oversight of the insurance monitoring process.
  • Oversee the UCC financing statement filing and continuation process for both state and county recordings.
  • Responsible for maintaining and ensuring accuracy of titled assets of lease financed equipment, including the submission of titling packages to the various department of motor vehicles of each state.
  • Follow-up with vendors and various titling agencies regarding status of liens on motor vehicles.
  • Work with third party agency to pursue electronic titling in states where available.
  • Will release the company as lienholder of any collateral once the contract has been paid in full.
  • Understands the company’s customer portal, which includes setting up customer access and resolving access issues. Provide back up support to the Lease Customer Service Administrator.
  • Respond quickly, professionally, and accurately to customer inquiries, including assisting with customer service phone calls, emails and customer portal questions.
  • Responsible for understanding the Bank’s policies, procedures, products and services.
  • Will provide extraordinary customer service to internal and external customers
  • Will perform special projects as assigned.

Education, Experience and Job Skills

  • Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior equipment lease financing or financial service industry experience desired.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, task and detailed oriented environment required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required
  • Proficient use of technology required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
  • Excellent phone manners and customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude.
