Job Description

The QO Lab Tech Associate position works effectively in a fast-paced, customer-oriented, team laboratory environment in support of the company's quality program in the laboratory

Community service tasks in a microbiology laboratory: Glassware washing, autoclaving, stocking of supplies, management of laboratory hazardous waste, miscellaneous tasks as needed

Support Stability/Retain department: Annual sample inspection, product labeling, filing, housekeeping & organization

Seeking energetic and innovative candidates.

High productivity and the ability to multi-task coupled with a low error rate and attention to detail

Demonstrates flexibility/agility and engagement in a changing environment. Displays good laboratory technique to avoid cross-contamination or misidentification of samples

Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new skills/techniques

Qualifications

Candidates with an AAS or BS in microbiology or related science are preferred

Job duties involve occasional lifting (less than 35 lbs), reaching, and sitting while working at computer terminal.

High School Diploma or Equivalentย 


"Candidate must not be Cephalosporin/Penicillin sensitive"
