Job Duties: Collaborate with team members in a multi-office, multi-country environment. Deliver high efficiency, high availability, concurrent and fault tolerant software systems. Contribute to development of Aladdin's global, multi-asset trading platform. Work with product management and business users to define the roadmap for the product. Design and develop innovative solutions to complex problems, identifying issues and roadblocks. Apply validated quality software engineering practices through all phases of development. Ensure resilience, and stability through quality code reviews, unit, regression and user acceptance testing, dev ops and level two production support. Brainstorm solutions for team productivity, efficiency, guiding and motivating others. Drive a strong culture by bringing principles of inclusion and diversity to the team and setting the tone through specific recruiting, management actions, and employee engagement.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 24 months of experience in job offered or closely related role. Position requires two years of experience in the following: Core Java with Object Oriented skills and design patterns; Programming in Java with Spring Framework, Sprint Boot, or Hibernate; Message Brokers; Relational databases including SQL, and MySQL; Git, Maven, unit testing, integration testing tools and mocking frameworks Building distributed applications using SQL and NOSQL technologies including MS SQL, Sybase, Cassandra or Redis; Applying cloud-native design patterns to event driven microservice architectures; High scale distributed technology including Kafka, Mongo, Ignite and Redis; Building microservices and APIs using REST, Kafka or gRPC; Agile development or open source development; Optimization; Cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure, AWS or GoogleCloud DevOps; Artificial Intelligence products or working in an AI research environment; Front-end frameworks including React, Vue.js, or Angular.

Salary: $145,000 - 148,000
