GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a Full time Custodial Position
Candidates will be required to work Monday - Friday 8:30 pm - 5:00 pm on most days
Occasional shifts may be 7 am - 4 pm or 10:30 am - 7:00 pm based on Federal Court's schedules.
To deliver high quality custodial services to all Federal contract locations contracted with South Carolina Vocations & Individual Advancement, INC. (SCVIA).
To encourage and promote a mutual associate/customer relationship which enhances the profitability of the SCVIA.
To represent SCVIA in a professional manner to reflect values and standards of its mission and goals.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To provide general custodial services to all SCVIA's contract locations such as cleaning carpet,
tile, windows, mirrors, fixtures, etc. as scheduled.
2. To perform maintenance of hard surface floors and all carpeted surfaces; to perform cleaning
and sanitizing of bathrooms, stripping and waxing of floors and cleaning/spot
cleaning/vacuuming of carpets.
3. To perform floor care services and general custodial processes in an efficient and cost effective
manner.
4. To perform outside work such as, but not limited to, keeping sidewalks clean and picking up
trash.
5. To perform general housekeeping, custodial and janitorial duties as may be scheduled and
assigned.
