Position Overview: Under general supervision, this position is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the WAN/LAN, end-user computing and break/fix repair work for the Information Technology department of the Family Church Network.
Reports to: Director Information Technology
Prerequisites:
- Ability to meet all minimum eligibility requirements to be a member of Family Church.
- Affirm the FCN statements of belief and practices as codified in our organizational bylaws and detailed in the Baptist Faith and Message confessional statement of 2000.
- Maintain a close and healthy walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Maintain a high standard of excellence and moral character.
- Record of consistent, high-level performance.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow.
- Professional and positive demeanor.
- Experience in basic networking and wireless installation and monitoring.
- Experience in basic break/fix troubleshooting and repairs.
- Experience with PC and Mac is preferred.
- Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field or experience equivalent.
General Responsibilities:
- Receive and resolve tickets from staff (PC and Mac).
- Utilize an online system to track, prioritize and report on ticket statuses.
- Rotate on-call responsibilities with fellow team members.
- Assist in monitoring network availability.
- Assist in maintaining inventories of related assets.
- Coordinate third-party installations and repair work as needed.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a stressful work environment.
- Maintain cooperative spirit assisting others when needed or requested.
