Job description

Summary/ Objective
The Senior Cabinet Designer is responsible for leading the design and sales process for custom and semi-custom cabinetry projects. This role partners closely with homeowners, builders, contractors, and design professionals to develop functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen, bath, and specialty storage solutions. The Senior Cabinet Designer leverages extensive product knowledge, design expertise, and industry experience to create detailed plans, manage project timelines, and deliver an exceptional customer experience from concept through installation. This position also serves as a mentor and resource for junior designers while contributing to showroom sales and overall business growth.
Qualifications
  • The candidate must have excellent people skills, be well-spoken, have strong organizational abilities, and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • The applicant must be able to manage high end clientele with patience and professionalism.
  • Familiar with the custom home construction and how cabinetry integration works within this process.
  • The candidate must have five plus years' kitchen and bath cabinetry experience.
  • The candidate must be experienced and proficient in sketching/drawing, PDF Expert and CAD experience is a plus. Microsoft Office proficiency is necessary.
  • The applicant must have spatial intelligence, ability to read floor plans, process projects from start to finish, and be able to collaborate well with the team.

Responsibilities
  • As a Kitchen Designer, you will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen designs & preparing presentations.
  • The designer will create and provide quotes for potential clients.
  • The designer must be proficient with designing floor plans, cabinet layout plans and facilitating the ordering process.
  • The designer will confirm specs of appliances and hardware.
  • The designer will collaborate with builders, clients, and interior designers, assisting them from sale, through the selection process, to project completion.
  • The designer will participate in showroom duties, working the occasional Saturday providing expertise to clients visiting our flagship showroom.
