Job description

Overview
CIS Secure is seeking experienced Technical Intelligence Analysts to support a mission-critical Department of Defense program focused on Group 1-3 Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), Counter-UAS operations, and emerging threat technologies. This position provides technical intelligence support to the DEVCOM C5ISR Center at Aberdeen Proving Ground, delivering actionable intelligence that enhances operational awareness and supports the development of capabilities to identify, analyze, and defeat evolving unmanned threats.
The successful candidate will collaborate with Government personnel, intelligence professionals, and technical subject matter experts to analyze complex intelligence from multiple disciplines, assess adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and produce timely intelligence products supporting operational planning, technology development, and force protection.
This position is well suited for experienced intelligence professionals with a Military Intelligence background who thrive in fast-paced operational environments and enjoy solving complex technical challenges in direct support of national security missions.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct all-source intelligence analysis supporting Group 1-3 UAS and Counter-UAS missions.
  • Collect, analyze, and disseminate intelligence regarding adversary technologies, threat devices, and tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • Integrate intelligence from multiple intelligence disciplines, including HUMINT, SIGINT, ELINT, FISINT, IMINT, and TECHINT, into finished intelligence products.
  • Research classified and open-source information to support operational planning and intelligence assessments.
  • Develop written intelligence reports, threat assessments, executive briefings, and analytical products.
  • Support Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield (IPB) and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) planning activities.
  • Identify trends involving unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), unmanned maritime systems (UMS), commercial technologies, and emerging threat capabilities.
  • Present intelligence findings and recommendations to Government leadership, operational commanders, and technical stakeholders.
  • Support intelligence collection planning, information integration, and operational decision-making.
  • Maintain proficiency with intelligence databases, analytical tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Travel as required to support operational missions, training events, technical exchanges, and customer requirements.

OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:
This is a full-time onsite position supporting operations at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. The selected candidate must be capable of independently supporting mission requirements while collaborating across multiple organizations in a classified environment.
TRAVEL:
Up to 50% travel may be required to support customer meetings, operational exercises, intelligence support activities, training events, and other mission requirements. Travel may include both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
Qualifications
CLEARANCE:
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance is required at the time of application.

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree with six (6) years of relevant experience.
  • Associate degree with nine (9) years of relevant experience may be substituted.
  • Eleven (11) years of specialized experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

CERTIFICATION(S):
  • No certifications are required at the time of hire.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Military Intelligence background with completion of a formal Military Intelligence training program.
  • Experience supporting one or more intelligence disciplines, including HUMINT, SIGINT, ELINT, FISINT, IMINT, or TECHINT.
  • Knowledge of Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations, collection planning, and intelligence integration.
  • Experience researching, analyzing, and producing finished intelligence products.
  • Experience developing intelligence reports, threat assessments, and executive-level briefings.
  • Strong understanding of adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures and emerging threat technologies.
  • Excellent analytical, research, technical writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using intelligence analysis tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to operate effectively as both an independent contributor and collaborative team member.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience supporting Counter-UAS or Counter-Unmanned Systems missions.
  • Knowledge of Group 1-3 UAS platforms and associated threat technologies.
  • Experience supporting DEVCOM, C5ISR Center, or other Department of Defense organizations.
  • Experience conducting Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield (IPB).
  • Knowledge of electronic warfare, technical intelligence, and intelligence collection strategies.
  • Experience developing intelligence-driven training materials, operational exercises, or technical briefings.
  • Familiarity with unmanned maritime systems (UMS) and emerging commercial technologies.
  • Experience supporting deployed operations or Combatant Command mission requirements.
