Job description

Summary

The Senior Associate, Intelligence Analyst plays a critical role in protecting AIPACโ€™s people, events, and operations. This position monitors, collects, analyzes, and interprets open-source intelligence to identify emerging physical-security threats and translate complex information into timely, actionable insights. Working closely with the Director of Intelligence Analysis and cross-functional security partners, the Senior Associate supports proactive threat assessment, event security planning, executive-protection efforts, and other security department needs.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical judgment and writing skills, investigative skills, attention to detail, and a calm, solutions-oriented approach to help anticipate risks and strengthen AIPACโ€™s overall security posture.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive open-source intelligence (OSINT) research and analysis.
  • Identify and assess potential physical security threats from open-source and social media information.
  • Monitor for threats and prepare detailed reports and threat assessments.
  • Support the planning and execution of security measures for events and executive protection.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in OSINT and physical security.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree required. Preferred fields: Intelligence Studies, Security, International Relations, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in OSINT.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in using OSINT tools and techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience with social media analysis and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of physical security threats and mitigation strategies.

AIPAC is offering a competitive market base salary between $72,000.00 and $85,000.00 for the position. A job offer within the range will depend on how closely a candidateโ€™s skills and experience match the roleโ€™s requirements. AIPAC also offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package that contributes to employeesโ€™ overall total compensation package.

Note that we currently follow a hybrid schedule with three days in our offices and two days working remotely. ย
