THE ROLE

The Toledo Complex includes both the Huntington Center and the Glass City Center. This position provides operational support across both venues. The Warehouse Associateis responsible forsupporting warehouse operations by receiving, storing, organizing, and delivering food,beverage, equipment, and other operational products throughout the venue ina timelyandaccuratemanner. This role supports concessions, portables, commissaries, catering areas, and other event-related locations as assigned.

The Warehouse Associate must be flexible, dependable, safety-focused, and willing to rotate assignments based on event needs. This position playsan important rolein ensuring Fair Park operations are properly stocked, clean, organized, and prepared to support a successful guest and team member experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Report directly to the Concessions Manager and/or Warehouse Supervisor, or assigned operational leader.
  • Assistwith receiving, checking, organizing, and storing food, beverage, equipment, and other deliveries.
  • Deliver stock and supplies toconcessionsstands, portables, commissaries, catering areas, bars, kitchens, and other assigned Fair Park locations.
  • Restock stands and service areas with food, beverage, paper goods,smallwares, and other operational products as needed.
  • Inspect assigned locations for product shortages, cleanliness concerns, equipment needs, or other deficiencies and communicate concerns to leadership.
  • Assistwith moving equipment,product, and supplies before, during, and after Fair Park events.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas, dock areas, storage rooms, walk-ins, and assigned workspaces.
  • Follow proper product rotation, storage, labeling, and food safety procedures.
  • Support event setup, replenishment, breakdown, and post-event recovery as assigned.
  • Safelyoperatewarehouse equipment only whenproperly trainedand authorized.
  • Follow all Legends safety expectations, including safe lifting practices, proper housekeeping, spill cleanup, equipment safety, and use of required personal protective equipment. Legends' Injury and Illness Prevention Program emphasizes that employeesare responsible forsafe work practices, following safety directives, reporting unsafe conditions, andmaintaininga safe work environment.
  • Report damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, product issues, or workplace injuriesimmediatelyto a supervisor, manager, Human Resources, or Risk Management.
  • Perform general housekeeping, cleaning, and operational support duties as needed.
  • Complete all required company-wide safety training and any job-specific trainingrequiredfor the role.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previouswarehouse, stock, food and beverage, concessions, or event operations experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume event environment.
  • Ability to promote andparticipatein a team-oriented work environment.
  • Ability to understand written and verbal directions and communicate effectively with managers, supervisors, and team members.
  • Ability to work extended or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and event days.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and move for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to occasionallylift upto 75 pounds.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and prepared to report to work as scheduled. Legends' handbook notes that attendance and punctuality are important because unnecessary absences and lateness are disruptive and place an unfair burden on fellow employees and supervisors.

Work Environment

This positionoperatesinwarehouse,dock, storage, kitchen, concessions, and event spaces throughout the Toledo Complex. Team members may work indoors and outdoors depending on event needs. The role may require exposure to varying temperatures, including coolers, freezers, outdoor weather conditions, and high-volume event environments.

Safety Expectations

All team members are expected to practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations, and complete company-wide safety training and job-specific safety training. Team members must notoperateequipment unless trained and authorized, must wear required PPE, must clean up spills promptly, and must report unsafe conditionsimmediately.
