Job Title: Warehouse Technical Associate

Job Overview:
Primary responsibility will be imaging and shipping equipment for our education initiatives to keep with tight SLA timelines. Secondary responsibility will revolve around quarantine asset repairs as well as diagnostics.
Responsibilities/Job Functions:
  • Visually inspect the contents of merchandise before it is shipped for damage
  • Ensure the order matches the items, quantities, and the address appropriately
  • Prepare documents before the shipment, such as shipping orders or bills of lading to route materials
  • Packing, seal, and label the merchandise for distribution
  • Visually inspect inbound merchandise, check for any damage and note it accordingly
  • Take the accessories out of the box and place in appropriate box for sorting later
  • Prepare accessories for repurposing
  • Imaging laptops
  • Confirming imaged correctly as well as determining problems with the imaging process
  • Assisting with correcting any technical issues arising from imaging
  • Repairing assets that are in our quarantine queue, normally repairing or diagnostics
  • The support specialist is required perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or team lead
  • Work closely with the Lima Warehouse Supervisor to determine inefficiencies and work on improving VTG and Lima Warehouse procedures
  • State specific testing support with potential supervisory responsibilities
  • Assistance with any / all departments as needed for all entities: VTG, Comm-Core, and VTG Properties
  • Maintaining SLA for corporate imaging project
  • Image creation for State Testing Orders
  • Troubleshooting serialized assets
  • Working with manufacturers/vendors to resolve issues
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Computer repair and diagnostics
  • Excel and Office Suite experience
  • Applicant will be expected to stand for several hours at a time
  • Applicant will be expected to lift boxes in excess of 30 lbs on a repetitive basis
  • Must be willing to work overtime if needed to ensure order are processed under our SLA with VTG's Customers
