The Infrastructure Engineer will join the Network Operations (NetOps) team, responsible for the operation, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of global network infrastructure, encompassing data centers, manufacturing facilities, office locations, and cloud platforms. The role requires a strong background in Cisco networking technologies and experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) environment.
Responsibilities:Network Operations & Support:Provide Level 3 support for network incidents and configuration management activities.Support and maintain enterprise network services across various locations.Participate in on-call rotations for critical network issues.Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams on upgrades and implementations.
Automation & Diagnostics:Develop and maintain automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency.Support API development and integration efforts for network management and monitoring tools.Perform advanced troubleshooting to resolve complex network issues.
Service Management & Documentation:Document incidents and changes within the ticketing system.Monitor and report on operational metrics and KPIs.Create and maintain technical documentation.
Experience Required:5+ years of experience in Network Operations Center (NOC) environments, focusing on incident and configuration management.Deep understanding of network infrastructure architecture, including routing and switching technologies.Hands-on experience supporting Cisco networking environments.Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Cisco network infrastructure, including routers, switches, wireless controllers, access points, DNA Center, and ROMMON recovery. Manage and troubleshoot routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, ISIS, OMP, and LISP. Configure and support Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies, including VLANs, trunking, EtherChannel, and related networking services. Support Software-Defined Networking technologies such as Cisco ACI, SD-Access, and SD-WAN.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Experience Preferred:Experience developing and supporting APIs and infrastructure integrations.Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and/or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certifications.CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.ITIL Foundation or equivalent certification.
Education Preferred:Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
