Role Overview:

CHAMPRO is seeking a hands-on Senior Infrastructure Engineer to drive our technical roadmap and maintain our multi-site infrastructure. This is a "player-coach" role for a high-level individual contributor who thrives on hands-on execution, serving as the final technical authority for our global team. Only accepting U.S. citizens or Permanent Residents. Cannot offer sponsorship for this role.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Technical SME: Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for our local and international teams. Assist with root-cause diagnosis and architectural execution across multiple time zones.

  • Systems & Virtualization: Build and optimize Hyper-V clusters (CSV/High Availability), manage SAN storage (iSCSI), and oversee on-premise Domain Controllers (GPO/DNS).

  • Web & Load Balancing: Direct management of IIS and load-balancing strategies to ensure 24/7 availability for business-critical traffic.

  • Network & Security Engineering: Assist with the transition from SonicWall to Fortinet. Manage BGP routing, site-to-site VPNs, and UniFi wireless deployments via both GUI and CLI.

  • Modernization & Cloud: Execute migrations to Azure File Share. Support the infrastructure backbone for our NetSuite ERP transition and integrate AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Anthropic) into the workflow.

  • Monitoring & IDP: Full ownership of LogicMonitor for proactive visibility and Entra ID/Duo for hardened identity management.
Technical Requirements:
  • Infrastructure Mastery: Deep experience with Hyper-V, IIS, PowerShell automation, and SAN management.

  • Network Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of Fortinet/SonicWall, BGP protocols, and enterprise networking.

  • Cloud/Identity: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Duo, and Azure/OCI environments.

  • Technical Documentation: Proven ability to create clear, actionable system documentation for international teams.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent high-level technical experience.

  • Schedule: 40 hours per week.
