Benchmark at Alexandria is hiring a Sales Associate to join our team! As a Sales Associate you will support the community Sales Team by helping manage Enquire, working the qualified lead database, converting leads to tours and conducting tours when the Director of Community Relations is unavailable. The primary objective of this role is a focus on attention sales KPI's and active conversion of leads to tours based on set monthly objectives.
Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Make outbound sales calls and emails and engage prospective residents and their influencers in conversation per provided scripts.
  • Convert incoming leads to scheduled tours utilizing the Enquire system and Director of Community Relations calendar; meet daily/weekly/monthly call and tours booked goals.
  • Demonstrate knowledge regarding Benchmark and its communities to answer basic questions of the prospective resident or influencer to generate excitement to schedule a tour and/or attend a community event.
  • Conduct follow up activities, including calls, texts, and emails as the initial scheduled tour date approaches and any activities needed if a follow up tour is needed.
  • Keep all contact information, including discovery notes, contact information, and contact efforts up to date in the Enquire system.
  • Demonstrate effective customer service skills in each interaction with a prospective resident and/or influencer.
  • Conduct tours when Director of Community Relations is unavailable.
  • Assist Director of Community Relations with promotion of community and prospect events through outreach to professional partners.
  • Assist Director of Community Relations with the planning and execution of spotlight events including, but not limited to, creating invitations, making phone calls to Enquire database, decorating, securing entertainment etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Passion for working with seniors.
  • Proven ability to create relationships via communication and interpersonal skills that includes face to face and telephone interactions. Experience making cold calls and establishing rapport.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure with high demands for results.
  • Proficient with customer/lead (CRM) tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a sales support role.
