Job description

Company Description Solid Wellness and Aesthetics is a patient-focused wellness and aesthetics practice located in Westfield, IN. The practice is dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized care that supports overall health, confidence, and well-being. Team members collaborate to deliver safe, evidence-based treatments in a professional and welcoming environment. Role Description This is a 32 hour, on-site Medical Assistant role based in Westfield, IN. The Medical Assistant will support clinicians by preparing patients for visits, recording vital signs, updating medical histories, and assisting with exams and procedures. Daily responsibilities include managing patient flow, maintaining exam rooms and equipment, documenting care in medical records, and coordinating front-office tasks such as scheduling and check-in when needed. The role also involves communicating clearly with patients about instructions, follow-up care, and practice services, while ensuring adherence to safety, privacy, and infection control protocols. The Medical Assistant will collaborate closely with the clinical and administrative team to deliver efficient, compassionate patient care in a wellness and aesthetics setting.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Medical Assisting skills, including supporting clinical procedures and patient encounters.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of Medical Terminology to accurately understand and document clinical information.
  • Candidates should possess experience in a Medical Office setting, including workflow coordination and basic administrative support.
  • Candidates should possess Patient Care skills focused on comfort, safety, and clear communication with diverse patient populations.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency in handling Medical Records, including accurate documentation and adherence to privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification (CMA, RMA or equivalent) required.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask in a clinical environment.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, perform clinical tasks safely, and follow infection control and safety procedures.
