The firm handles a variety of civil and trial matters, emphasizing thorough case preparation and client-centered service. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Paralegal role based in Birmingham, AL. The Paralegal will assist attorneys in all phases of case management, including organizing and maintaining case files, drafting and formatting legal documents, and managing discovery materials. Daily tasks include legal research, document review, preparing case summaries, and coordinating with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. The role also involves scheduling depositions and hearings, tracking deadlines, and ensuring compliance with court rules and firm procedures. The Paralegal will work closely with attorneys to support trial preparation, including exhibits, witness lists, and litigation binders.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Law and familiarity with civil litigation or trial practice.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and work collaboratively with a diverse team.
