A day in the life

Prologis is seeking an Associate in our Denver, Colorado office as part of the Global FP&A team. The FP&A Associate will be a key member of the Financial Planning & Analysis team, responsible for supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes. This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for understanding the financial drivers of the business.

Key responsibilities include:

Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Assist with the aggregation and review of monthly NOI forecasts and annual budgets.

  • Maintain the global forecast calendar and assist in ensuring stakeholders meet their deliverable deadlines.

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Assist with procuring monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data.

  • Conduct monthly in-depth analysis of the forecast, focusing on key variance drivers of Net Operating Income and Capital Expenditures.

  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities that impact business performance.

  • Support the development of management presentations, highlighting key financial metrics and business performance.

  • Other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Support ad hoc projects and initiatives by providing financial insights to drive business strategies.

Process Improvement:

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of FP&A processes, tools, and systems.

Building blocks for success

Required:

  • 2-5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related financial role.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel with familiarity in financial reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and ERP systems.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
