Client Overview:
Our client is an established and growing real estate and property management organization that focuses on residential properties across the USA. They are currently expanding and looking to add a Property Finance Associate to their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early career finance professional to support and work alongside a Finance Executive.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$65k
Position Overview:
The Property Finance Associate supports the financial management of residential real estate portfolios and also provides basic administrative support to the Finance Executive. This Property Finance Associate role involves preparing budgets, analyzing financial reports, and assisting with lease administration. The Property Finance Associate will collaborate with Property Managers and clients to optimize financial performance.
Responsibilities of the Property Finance Associate:
  • Prepare detailed budgets and financial reports for properties as the Property Finance Associate.
  • Support the Executive through basic administrative tasks (calendar management, travel arrangements, organizing meetings, taking notes in meetings).
  • Manage and oversee operations, maintenance, and improvement of real estate assets as the Property Finance Associate.
  • Meet with clients to negotiate contracts and discuss financial status.
  • Analyze information to solve problems and make decisions.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, and clients as the Property Finance Associate.
  • Use accounting and property management software for data entry and reporting.
Required Experience/Skills for the Property Finance Associate:
  • 2+ years within property management finance and real estate development.
  • 1+ year of experience supporting an Executive through administrative tasks (calendar, travel, meetings, organization, and reporting).
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Yardi).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate and collaborate with teams.
  • Experience in preparing financial documents and operational budgets.
  • Active listening and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and real estate finance.
