As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in South Burlington, VT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier financial institution location as an unarmed officer, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a welcoming environment through agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while putting people first each day.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the lobby, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support Allied Universal standards by completing assigned reports, maintaining a visible presence, and following post orders related to after-hours access, deliveries, and/or employee assistance.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
