The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) is seeking a highly organized and serviceoriented Administrative Associate to support the Decosimo Success Center in the Rollins College of Business. This position plays a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations and providing exceptional support to students, staff, and campus partners.

Often serving as the first point of contact for visitors and students, the Administrative Associate helps create a welcoming, efficient, and studentfocused environment while overseeing office operations, administrative processes, and student worker support.

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Decosimo Success Center office, including front desk management and office workflow. 
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for students, staff, campus partners, and community professionals. 
  • Provide administrative and clerical support, including record management, meeting minutes, correspondence, and office supply coordination. 
  • Supervise and support student workers, including scheduling, training, and daytoday guidance. 
  • Process financial and administrative transactions, including departmental ledgers, procurement card reconciliation, payroll reports, invoices, and travel reimbursements. 
  • Assist with hiring and onboarding processes for student workers and other employees, ensuring required documentation is completed. 
  • Coordinate meetings, conference room reservations, special events, and projects for the Success Center. 
  • Arrange travel for staff, students, and visitors as needed. 
  • Maintain accuracy in tracking documents, budgets, and reports in compliance with university policies.
