Overview:
Quantam Solutions provides IT solutions and consulting for various clients. We offer competitive hourly wages, health benefits, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan. We are currently seeking a Senior Microsoft Developer. Candidates must be located within 90 minutes of Louisville, KY. Candidates must be able to interview in person in Louisville, KY. Excellent English communication skills are required for this position. This position is primarily remote with occasional onsite meetings and workdays in Louisville, when requested. To begin this position, the selected candidate may have to initially spend several days onsite in Louisville, KY for training. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science is required for this position.
Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Microsoft Developer to work alongside our client's Chief Developer for several ongoing projects. The selected candidate must be able to work diligently and collaboratively on an initial project with a 30-day deadline for their first project. After the first project is completed, the Senior Microsoft Developer will be required to learn our client's IT environment, technology stack, and workflows while working alongside the Chief Developer on various projects at once. The ability to manage working on various projects at once will be paramount. Our client's applications have different components that the Senior Microsoft Developer will be tasked with possible rewrites, testing, and troubleshooting. The Senior Microsoft Developer must be able to effectively communicate with the Chief Developer as well as other client support staff, stakeholders, and elected officials. Effective communication breaking down technical information to non-technical stakeholders as well as non-technical information to technical stakeholders will be required. The Senior Microsoft Developer must have keen attention to detail and the ability lead when asked.
Required Skill Sets:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Three to five years of in-depth .NET development experience.
  • Three to five years of experience with ASP.NET.
  • Three to five years of experience with SQL Server.
  • Three to five years of experience with Visual Basic.
  • Three to five years of experience with C#.
  • Three to five years of troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to rewrite applications where and when needed.
  • Ability to review, edit, and draft technical documentation.
  • Provide effective communication and sound listening skills.
