Parametric Solutions Inc. currently has an opportunity for a Business Development Director to join our team in the Jupiter, FL office. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package.

 

Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to develop growth strategies and expand our engineering services portfolio. In this role, you will identify new market opportunities, establish relationships with major aerospace OEMs and defense contractors, Power Generation clients and capture engineering to production contracts. This is an on-site position operating out of our Jupiter, FL office. 


Essential Functions:


  • Take end-to-end ownership of the business development lifecycle, aligning commercial growth initiatives with internal engineering, prototyping, and testing capabilities. 
  • Lead consultative sales and capture strategies to expand revenue footprints across existing accounts and secure new opportunities with tier-1 aerospace OEMs and defense primes and power generations clients. 
  • Represent the company at key aviation, defense, and power generation trade shows to establish industry relationships, source organic leads, and benchmark competitive market capabilities. 
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, maintaining proactive communication regarding project performance, introducing next-generation engineering/manufacturing capabilities, and identifying emerging industry needs. 
  • Bridge the gap between customer technical demands and execution teams, collaborating directly with clients and internal Project Managers to shape detailed Work statements, technical proposals, and purchase orders. 
  • Establish and maintain compliant commercial documentation, ensuring all contract workflows, master service agreements (MSAs), and internal sales tracking processes meet rigorous company standards. 

  • Execute auxiliary strategic tasks as needed to support a growing engineering facility and dynamic customer base. 

Requirements (Education & Experience):

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent industry experience.

  • Experience: 7+ years in a technical sales, account management, or project tracking role within an aerospace environment.  

  • Engineering Acumen: Deep comfort level collaborating with engineering teams; ability to grasp complex aerospace/turbomachinery and power generation concepts and communicate our technical capabilities effectively to clients.

  • Sales Acumen: Mastery of consultative, relationship-driven sales methodologies; proven success identifying key decision-makers and navigating long corporate procurement cycles for complex services.

  • Business Acumen: Strong commercial mindset with the ability to analyze project margins, evaluate market trends, and ensure proposals align with the company's financial and strategic goals.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).

  • Communication: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work comfortably across all levels of the organization.

  • Adaptability: Proven capability to multi-task, stay organized, and shift focus as required in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Compliance: Due to the nature of defense-related engineering datasets, U.S. Citizenship is strictly required.

  • Location: Jupiter, FL – 100% on-site.
  • Travel: This position requires regular domestic travel.
