Our Distribution Center services two states, shipping fireworks to over 1700+ retail and grocery chain stores, such as Walmart, Target, Publix, Sam’s Club and Costco, just to name a few. In addition, we provide our product to over 250 parking lot stands and tents in Florida and Georgia. Job Description:
TNT Fireworks is looking for a highly motivated individual for a summer internship in multiple locations across the US. The summer associate will have great exposure to a broad range of logistics functions throughout the organization. S/he will assist in making strategic decisions to drive cost performance and maximize efficiency. 
Some of the primary duties include:
  • Review cost-effective opportunities to deliver via TNT drivers.
  • Interact with Marketing and Sales to manage and coordinate delivery dates/times.
  • Track and update LTL shipments, to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Analyze and develop routes for drivers to optimize driving time/distance.
  • Help with driver recruitment and qualification.
  • Help coordinate driver training and availability. 
  • Track weekly delivery expenses and record them.
  • Help develop metrics to track performance. 
Secondary Duties:
  • Learn and assist in processing shipping documents.
  • Assist warehouse supervisors with all operations processes: receiving, shipping, production, etc.
  • Contact stores regarding scheduled.

Qualifications:
  • Business Management, Business Administration, or Logistics/Supply Chain major preferred.
  • Proficient with Excel.
  • Strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Transportation will be required
