Job description

Description
The Department of Economics in the College of Arts & Sciences at Texas A&M University is seeking to fill one position at the rank of tenure-track Assistant Professor in applied microeconomics or macroeconomics, with a substantive focus on energy economics. We welcome candidates who study energy-related questions using tools from applied microeconomics, macroeconomics, industrial organization, public economics, labor economics, or related fields. This is a full-time, 9-month academic appointment with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2027.
In addition to publishing in leading journals, the successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, contribute to the Department's intellectual life, and serve on appropriate departmental committees.
Qualifications
This position requires a Ph.D. in economics or a related field. Successful candidates must demonstrate excellence in research and teaching.
