Our firm is seeking motivated and talented auditors ranging from 1-3+ years of experience to add to our growing audit department, with a focus on commercial, for-profit entity audits. We offer a flexible work environment to meet your needs as well as the support of traditional office spaces at both of our locations.  Compensation will be based on number of years’ experience and CPA licensure.


Location: Greenville or Anderson office


Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare audit testing workpapers documenting tests and procedures performed and related conclusions
  • Perform basic accounting research as applicable to the audit engagements
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements during the course of the audit
  • Perform basic accounting research as applicable to the audit engagements
  • Assisting with planning and other accounting projects as assigned
  • Handling multiple tasks while developing technical, time management & organizational skills


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; Master’s degree preferred
  • CPA license or on CPA track for SC CPA license
  • Years of relevant audit experience: 1–2 (Staff) 3-5 (Senior)
  • Overall knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures
  • Exposure to employee benefit audits is a plus
  • Knowledge of accounting software systems a plus (CCH Engagement)
  • Proficiency in use of MS Office software (Excel, Outlook & Word)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication + interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, accounting research and problem-solving skills required
