Accounting Clerk Responsibilities:

Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
-
The Accounting Clerk will process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders accurately and efficiently

Reconcile account balances and investigate discrepancies

Maintain financial records, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation

Assist with bank reconciliations and data entry tasks

Support month-end and year-end close activities

The Accounting Clerk will ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures

Respond to vendor and customer inquiries regarding payments and account activity

Collaborate with accounting team members on special projects and process improvements

The Accounting Clerk will provide general administrative support to the accounting department as needed
Preferred Qualifications of the Accounting Clerk Role:

2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or accounting clerk experience

Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
