Position: Accounting Associate
Qualifications & Experience
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent experience. Should also
have 2‐5 years of work experience with private or public company. Certified public accountant (CPA) or
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) a plus.
Must be self‐ motivated, multi‐tasker and the ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment.
Skills
Exemplary proficiency and excellence in accounting and auditing including the following:
 Intermediate to Advanced computer skills (especially spreadsheet and word processing)
 Proficient in audit workpaper documentation utilizing audit software
 Proficient with QuickBooks
 Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines.
 Willingness to work flexible schedule during peak periods
 Dependable and punctual
 The ability to work independently and in a team environment
 Ability to execute scheduled audits including planning, preparation, execution, reporting and
follow‐up
 Develop audit scopes, including risk assessment and evaluation of internal controls

 Assist in bookkeeping/write‐up and the preparation of individual and business tax returns for
clients in various industries
 Complete special projects and/ or ad‐hoc projects with minimal supervision and direction
 Assist with general admin tasks (e.g., answering calls, filing, scanning, copying, running errands)
