Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate I - Cylinders is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations through accurate order picking, inventory management, receiving, shipping, material handling, and warehouse organization. This role is essential to maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring materials are safely and efficiently moved throughout the facility.

Responsibilities
  • Pick cylinders, cylinder parts, supplies, and materials according to work orders and pick tickets.
  • Verify quantities and accuracy before submitting completed orders for review.
  • Stage materials for production, shipment, customer orders, and internal transfers.
  • Load and unload trucks, trailers, and shipping containers.
  • Receive, inspect, unpack, and organize incoming inventory.
  • Report damaged, missing, mislabeled, or incorrect items.
  • Put away inventory in designated warehouse locations following company procedures.
  • Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and stock verification.
  • Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
  • Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Support other warehouse functions as needed.
QualificationsRequired
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to accurately count inventory and follow detailed instructions.
  • Ability to operate a forklift or successfully complete company-provided forklift training.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with the team.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Preferred
  • 1-2 years of warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or material handling experience.
  • Previous forklift certification or experience.
  • Experience with order picking, receiving, shipping, and inventory control.
  • Basic Microsoft Outlook, Word, or Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with industrial products, cylinders, or related components.
Work Environment
Work is performed primarily in a warehouse and manufacturing setting and may involve:
