Purpose
Provide HR support at the Blanton Museum of Art through accurate and organized recordkeeping of paper and digital files.
This position is open to current UT Austin work-study students who meet the required qualifications listed below. Applicants should expect to work during the fall 2026 semester.
Responsibilities
  • Assist HR department with paper and digital filing tasks.
  • Research records retention rules to ensure compliance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be a current UT Austin undergraduate student in good standing enrolled in at least 6 credits during the fall 2026 semester. Must have proof of current participation in the Work-Study program and be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by responding to inquiries professionally, promptly, and courteously.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy by paying close attention to detail when completing tasks, processing information, and managing records.
  • Stay organized and effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion, ensuring compliance with privacy and company policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Salary
$15.00 per hour
Working Conditions:
  • Standard Office Environment

Work Shift
  • No more than 10 hours per week, scheduled Monday - Thursday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Weekly schedule provided by supervisor; will work with class schedules
