HR Associate | Chicago, IL | Hybrid

North Bridge Staffing Group is looking for an HR Associate to join our internal team in Chicago!

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their HR career who wants hands-on exposure to onboarding, payroll, employee support, HR operations, reporting, and staffing operations within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


What you’ll do:

  • Coordinate onboarding for new associates, including documentation and orientation support
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to pay, benefits, time off, and employment matters
  • Support weekly payroll, including timecard review, approvals, and discrepancy resolution
  • Maintain employee records and update HR systems
  • Assist with employment verifications and I-9 documentation
  • Prepare overtime, workforce, commission, and billing-related reports
  • Maintain Excel trackers and recurring HR/payroll reporting
  • Partner with Billing, Operations, Recruiting, and Sales teams
  • Support ad hoc HR and internal projects as needed


What we’re looking for:

  • 0–2 years of HR, staffing, recruiting, administrative, or internship experience
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with an ATS or staffing system such as Bullhorn is a plus
  • Spanish language skills are a plus
