UCT is looking for a talented Sr Associate, HRBP to join us in Austin, TX!

The Sr. Associate, HRBP provides comprehensive HR support by partnering with management and employees to address workforce needs and ensure alignment with company policies and practices. This role supports recruiting, employee relations, and HR operations, including onboarding, benefits, performance management, and compliance. By maintaining accurate HR data, supporting audits and reporting, and assisting with workforce changes such as hiring and terminations, the Sr. Associate helps drive effective HR service delivery, employee engagement, and organizational efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Acts as liaison between employee and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices, and regulations.
  • Guide site recruiting and employee relations processes.
  • Responsible for human resource activities to include employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, and training and development.
  • Interview job applicants; review application/resume; evaluate applicant skills and make recommendations regarding applicant's qualifications.
  • Coordinate the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries.
  • Perform specific research/investigation into operational issues, as requested.
  • Processes various forms related to documenting human resources activities such as new-hire, change-of-status, performance evaluations, benefits, terminations, etc.
  • Conducts new-hire orientations, counsels' employees on benefit features
  • Trains new employees as required on self-service HR tools.
  • Assists with audit and reporting of site staffing programs.
  • Maintains employee hardcopy files. Inputs employee personal data into human resources information/computer system (HRIS) database.
  • Provides information to employees on matters pertaining to their personal employee information.
  • Coordinates termination and reduction in force activities including paperwork, related distributions, and communications.
  • Reviews and updates exit paperwork for team, closeout exiting employee’s files, store exit interview data for reporting. May conduct employee exit interviews and tally general statistics including headcount tracking.
  • Maintain organizational charts with up-to-date information.
  • Works on special projects in support of the HR organization.
  • Other Recruiting and HR duties as assigned.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources.
  • PHR/SPHR certification preferred.

Work Experience:

  • 5+ years HR experience, preferably in high technology/manufacturing environment.

Work Environment:

Environmental Exposure:
