Job description

Warehouse Associate
Join Our Team
Goodwill Columbus is hiring Warehouse Associates to help sort, prepare, and move donated goods in a fast-paced warehouse environment. If you're dependable, enjoy staying active, and take pride in working as part of a team, we'd like to meet you.
What You'll Do
  • This position also will ride along from various Goodwill Retail sites helping to pick up and drop off items in a Goodwill Box Truck
  • Sort, organize, and prepare donated items for processing and shipment
  • Load textiles and materials into production equipment
  • Move, stack, and organize inventory throughout the warehouse
  • Assist with packaging and shipment preparation
  • Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
  • Follow safety, attendance, and performance standards
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned

What We're Looking For
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous warehouse or production experience is helpful, but not required
  • We welcome candidates who are willing to learn

Physical Requirements
  • Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and grasping
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements throughout the shift
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with noise and changing temperatures
