Job Description

As a Business Continuity & Resiliency Consultant, you will partner with assigned lines of business to design, implement, and continuously improve business continuity and resiliency plans. This role combines analytical, advisory, and execution-focused work. Youโ€™ll lead business impact assessments, develop recovery strategies, and guide teams through testing and real-world scenarios to ensure readiness. Team Culture

Youโ€™ll join a collaborative, business-facing team that operates as a trusted partner across the organization. Success in this environment comes from building strong relationships, influencing without direct authority, and helping business leaders navigate complex challenges.

The team places a strong emphasis on ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement. Youโ€™ll have regular interaction with senior leaders, and the opportunity to support conversations that shape priorities across the organization giving you exposure across multiple lines of business. Itโ€™s a strong fit for someone who enjoys working independently while staying closely connected to the business and driving meaningful outcomes.

  • Assess: Lead business impact analyses and identify critical services, dependencies, and resiliency gaps
  • Plan: Develop and maintain continuity plans, recovery procedures, and playbooks aligned to business and regulatory expectations
  • Test: Design and facilitate scenario-based exercises and testing to build readiness and โ€œmuscle memoryโ€ across teams
  • Advise: Provide guidance to stakeholders on risk, recovery strategies, and program requirements while influencing outcomes without direct authority
  • Improve: Drive continuous improvement by identifying gaps, monitoring remediation efforts, and supporting the evolution toward risk-based planning and testing

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Crisis Management, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field and 5+ years of related experience in business continuity program management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred: Working towards or achieved a relevant business continuity certification, such as Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP), Member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI), or a related credential.

  • Advanced understanding of business impact and GAP analysis; ability to develop and implement short- and long-term continuity and recovery strategies and track progress toward gap remediation

  • Solid knowledge of security and IT system change control processes
  • Ability to leverage AI, automation, data, and digital tools to enhance risk analysis, identify trends and emerging risks, and strengthen continuity/resiliency processes while aligning with risk frameworks and regulatory expectations
