A growing organization in the Columbus, Ohio area is seeking a Business Expansion Specialist t to support data-driven expansion and market planning initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects involving market research, forecasting, location analysis, and business growth strategy.
The position will begin on a contract basis with the potential for permanent hire based on performance and business needs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, identifying trends, and influencing strategic business decisions.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze demographic, geographic, and market data to identify growth opportunities and emerging trends
  • Support forecasting and projection models related to expansion initiatives and potential new locations
  • Develop market analyses and recommendations that assist leadership with strategic planning and site evaluation
  • Maintain and enhance reporting tools, databases, and analytical resources used for business decision-making
  • Conduct pre-opening and post-opening performance evaluations to measure business impact and success
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external resources to support planning, research, and expansion projects
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Analytics, Geography, or a related field
  • Real estate analysis experience extremely beneficial
  • Experience working with large datasets and performing analytical research
  • Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis functions
  • Strong ability to interpret data and communicate findings to business leaders
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with GIS, mapping software, or data visualization tools is a plus
Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
