# Pregame and Content Producer## Carolina Hurricanes•### @CarolinaHurricanesPosted on 8/8/2026•Full-time## Job DescriptionThe Carolina Hurricanes are seeking a creative and experienced storyteller to join the organization in a full-time role as Pregame and Content Producer.This individual will serve as pregame producer and in-game associate director for the Hurricanes television network, bringing fans closer to the team through original and dynamic programming, engaging segments and authentic content. In addition, the role will be responsible for attending practices and morning skates to capture content with the team, its players and its coaches, and editing broadcast-ready features to air on the pre-game show, during the game broadcast and across digital and social channels.The ideal candidate has experience working in a truck during live broadcasts of sports events, thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, and has a proven history of creating storytelling broadcast video content.**Key Responsibilities** **Television Broadcasts*** Produce a 30-minute, four-segment pre-game show and three-segment post-game show for each Hurricanes broadcast on the team’s television network* Develop creative, sponsorable features and segments for the broadcast that drive audience engagement* Organize and host production meetings with talent* Create pre-game and post-game formats with compelling content promoting the game, team, community and the NHL* Provide graphics and tape elements to lead EVS and graphics producer in advance of game crew arrivals* AD commercial integration for pre- and post-game shows* Serve as associate director during the game broadcast, coordinating commercial integration and in-game sponsor activation* Assist the game producer and director with pre-production* Manage and maintain equipment for the traveling production trunk used for home and road games**Content Production*** Shoot, edit and package thoughtful, engaging features for the pre-game show and game broadcast that reveal personality, insight, and emotion* Identify creative storytelling opportunities that extend beyond game coverage and showcase the personalities that make the organization unique* Work in close coordination with the content team to create a strategic plan for content capture that maximizes outcomes for both groups* Attend practices and morning skates regularly to capture locker room interview footage for use on the content team’s projects as well as the team’s external media share – enhancing the team’s coverage season-long on local network affiliates* Create a true partnership with the Broadcast and Digital Host to assist that role with producing quality content for broadcast and social, in collaboration with the content and marketing groups\*\* Qualifications\*\** Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, Sports Media, or a related field preferred* Previous live collegiate or professional sports broadcast production experience required* Strong videography and video editing skills required* Knowledge of hockey and the NHL is preferred* Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and travel throughout the NHL season* Must pass a criminal background check**Required Application Materials** Applicants must submit the following materials for consideration:* Resume* Cover Letter* Production reel and/or links to previously produced and packaged video content# **Applications submitted without video samples or reels will not be considered***Hurricanes Holding, LLC reserves the right to change or modify the employee's job description whether orally or in writing, at any time during the employment relationship.
