Job Summary:
Hard Rock Casino Rockford is committed to the health and well-being of its team members. The Manager of Database Marketing is responsible for providing technical and organizational support for Direct Marketing efforts, including data gathering, query execution, and preparing actionable insights for strategic decisions.
Responsibilities:
• Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Casino Rockford their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service.
• Responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of database segmentation models.
• Accurately create and modify existing database queries to extract data for direct marketing programs.
• Manipulate and sort lists in preparation for direct marketing vendors.
• Create, manage and distribute direct marketing reports.
• Reconcile data across multiple databases to ensure accuracy in reporting and direct marketing lists.
• Research and recommend effective direct marketing approaches.
• Assist with NCOA and other data hygiene efforts.
• Supports all operational department needs, helping to identify and implement process improvements.
• Serves as a training resource on analytic programming tools and methods.
• Coordinate system testing with IT.
• Investigates and solves data quality issues.
• Prepares ad-hoc analysis upon request.
• Maintains professional relations with vendors and guests.
• Attend and participate in off property functions and events as assigned.
• Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.
• Communicates effectively with all levels of the operation. Proactively identifies issues and concerns to management.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Associate Or Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Board.
• Must successfully pass background check.
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts.
• SQL Server Management Studio/Query tools required (intermediate to advanced skills required).
• Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced skills required).
• Microsoft Word, Access, and Powerpoint.
• Pay attention to detail and possess strong, organizational skills.
• Maintain a high level of discretion, maturity, and professionalism.
• Maintain positive, can- do attitude and strong work ethic.
• Work independently and think analytically with the ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve complex problems.
• Communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
• Multi-task and perform effectively in a challenging fast paced environment.
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Communicate effectively with subordinates, coworkers and management.
• Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
• Interpret and explain policies and procedures.
• Obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, understanding the potential impact on the department.
Preferred:
• Prior experience in the Gaming industry preferred.
• Prior experience opening new properties/outlets strongly preferred.
• Tableau or similar data visualization software preferred.
• Bally’s CMP, EBS, Kiosk and BI Tool experience preferred.
