Sales Associate

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients; provide a tour of the retail space while sharing the culture, vision, values of Gallery Dept.
  • Determine clients needs and address any related concerns
  • Respond to questions, improve engagement with merchandise and provide outstanding customer service
  • Follow-up with clients through callbacks
  • Perform other reasonable job functions as assigned by an immediate supervisor and/or other management
  • Strong customer-service orientation
  • Operating cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers
  • Self-motivated with an ardent desire to achieve personal and company defined monthly, quarterly, and annual goals
  • Ability to thrive in an environment of constant change

  • Maintain existing clientele and develop new client relationships
  • Self- starter, takes initiative to maintain individual productivity through strong client engagement, store maintenance, and teamwork

  • Actively supports store maintenance on the floor and back of house, including but not limited to, controlling product pulled for client, folding, steaming, etc. and all items returned to respective zones
  • Maintains a positive work environment through teamwork, collaboration and communication
  • Attend daily meetings with team and sales supervisor to discuss scheduled appointments, product needs, and highlighted items
  • Maintain and apply companies procedures and policies at all times
  • Maintain appropriate physical and apparel appearance utilizing uniform standards approved by retail management


Required Skills/Abilities and Qualifications:

  • Two years of retail sales experience preferably within a luxury retail environment
    Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Must be a strong team player, punctual, and excellent attendance record
  • Ability to multi-task, and prioritize tasks

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in leadership, management, and team building
