Job Description
Associate Front End Developer L1 - Arlington Virginia Hybrid (4 days)
As an Associate Front End Developer, L1 you will be responsible for developing and maintaining front-end applications using various frameworks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and performant digital experiences for our clients.
Your Impact
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain modern web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Translate UX designs, wireframes, and prototypes into high-quality, responsive, and accessible user interfaces.
  • Collaborate with designers, product owners, and back-end engineers to build seamless digital experiences.
  • Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code that follows engineering best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving software quality and team standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve front-end application issues across multiple environments.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and accessibility across browsers and devices.
  • Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
  • Stay current with emerging front-end technologies, Angular releases, and development best practices.
  • Support testing efforts through unit testing, integration testing, and quality assurance activities.
  • Learn and adopt AI-enabled development practices and tools to improve engineering productivity and software quality.

Qualifications
Skills & Experience
  • Experience with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Hands-on experience with Angular and/or React development in enterprise or commercial environments.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience developing reusable UI components and implementing responsive, mobile-friendly web applications.
  • Strong understanding of modern front-end development concepts including component-based architecture, state management, routing, and API integration.
  • Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Familiarity with build tools, package managers, and modern front-end workflows (npm, Angular CLI, Vite, Webpack, etc.).
  • Experience using source control systems such as Git.
  • Understanding of web application debugging and browser developer tools.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and Agile practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • 2-3+ years of experience developing modern web applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment and collaborate effectively with team members.

Additional Information
Salary Range: $116,000 - $135,000
The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
