Location: East Moline, IL (On-site, remote option not available)
Status: Full-Time
Role Description

EBE Technologies develops software that helps transportation and logisticscompanies automate document processing, workflow management, and business operations.

We are seeking an Application Developer / Programmer to join our development team. This role focuses primarily on front-end web application development, while supporting backend systems and enterprise applications. You'll work within established production environments to build, maintain, and enhance software used daily by transportation companies across North America.

The ideal candidate has experience developing web applications, working with SQL Server databases, and contributing to secure, scalable software solutions. Experience with mobile application development is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain web-based applications and user interfaces
  • Enhance and support existing production software systems
  • Work with Microsoft SQL Server databases and Windows Server environments
  • Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable application code
  • Apply object-oriented programming principles and source code management best practices
  • Assist with application security, authentication, and content management functionality
  • Troubleshoot software issues and implement effective solutions
  • Collaborate with team members throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Contribute to software enhancements in a fast-paced production environment
Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience developing web-based applications
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server on Windows Server platforms
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming principles
  • Experience using source code management tools and version control systems
