Available shifts are 5:00 AM-2:00 PM or 10:00 AM-7:00 PM Monday to Friday.
PURPOSE
This position is responsible for providing general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The Front Desk Coordinator will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate Team Members/Departments. Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming and directing them appropriately; notifies Team Members of visitor arrival; mail/package distribution to the mailroom; overhead announcements; requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical duties. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers. This position operates in a professional office environment.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate Team Member/Department. Will transfer a caller to Team Member's/Department voice mailbox when Team Member/Department is unavailable.
Continuously work to lower the amount of missed calls and caller queue time.
Greets and directs visitors to USA Truck and presents USA Truck professionally and enthusiastically.
Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to USA Truck Corporate Offices, company fax numbers, company website and other related information.
Assists with the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies.
Report system exceptions and alarms.
Ability to deliver exceptional service through positive engagement and patience.
Ability to work in a team environment to continuously improve results.
Able to promote a culture of trust and safety.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High School Diploma
One year of administrative /customer service experience
Associate's Degree in Business or Communications preferred

Working conditions
This position will be required to work in an office environment with moderate noise levels, and, with or without reasonable accommodation is required to:

Occasionally ascend/descend stairs and move up to 20 pounds of office objects.

Occasionally attend meetings in buildings outside corporate office and at off-site locations with various internal conditions, and requiring travel in various external conditions.
