Job description

About The Role:
Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT), a leading defense technology company, is seeking an Associate Program Financial Analyst to be part of our Business Strategy team and based out of our Arlington, VA location.

The individual will be responsible for control functions including planning, tracking, forecasting, and analysis and reporting on projects. This individual may also be asked to perform Earned Value Management analysis on multiple projects, working with IDT Program Managers to develop baseline budgets, providing monthly status, and generating monthly reporting for management.

The Associate Program Financial Analyst may support proposal pricing activity. The Associate Program Financial Analyst may provide supporting financial information to assist in contract negotiation.

  • This is an on-site position. Requiring at least 3 days in office, based out of our Arlington, VA location.

What You Will Do:
  • Work closely with Program Managers to develop reports and analyze performance metrics and programmatic documents against plans to ensure that contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met.
  • Compile and analyze assigned contracts for projected staff hours, EACs, contract totals, revenues, and profit totals
  • Maintain appropriate records and documentation
  • Support the IDT Business Strategy team in providing financial reports for tracking, monitoring, forecasting, and reporting contract performance.
  • Other duties as assigned
